Description
Create a bold, colourful summer display with this mixed bulb & corm collection, ideal for sunny borders and patio pots. This pack combines four popular summer-flowering favourites for a varied look: airy Crocosmia sprays, tall Gladioli spikes, exotic Tiger Flowers (Tigridia) and vibrant starry Sparaxis blooms. Plant in groups to get the best impact, or use the mix to fill gaps and add colour where spring bulbs have finished. These bulbs/corms love warmth and good drainage, so choose a sunny spot and avoid waterlogged soil. In colder or winter-wet areas, some types are best lifted and stored dry/frost-free over winter for reliable performance year to year. Each variety is supplied separately packed for buyer convenience, so you can create your own arrangement and planting plan. Pollinator visits vary with weather and what else is in bloom, but these flowers can attract bees and other pollinating insects in season.

Growing Information (summary)
Flowering time: Summer to early autumn (varies by type and planting time)
Height: Sparaxis approx. 20–30cm • Tigridia approx. 40–60cm • Crocosmia approx. 60–100cm • Gladioli often 80–120cm
Position: Full sun (best flowering) to light partial shade
Soil: Well-drained; improve heavy soil with grit/sand; pots must have drainage holes
Planting Guide (simple steps)
Unpack on arrival and store bulbs/corms cool, dry and airy if you cannot plant immediately.
Plant in spring once frost risk has passed (or start in pots for earlier growth where suitable).
Choose a sunny, well-drained spot or use free-draining compost in pots.
Gladioli: plant about 10–15cm deep, space 10–15cm (deeper in light soil); stake if exposed.
Crocosmia: plant about 7–10cm deep, space 8–15cm; clumps look best.
Tigridia: plant about 7–10cm deep, space 10cm; warm soil helps best results.
Sparaxis: plant about 5cm deep, space 8–10cm; excellent in pots.
Water after planting, then water moderately during growth (avoid waterlogging).
After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally to feed the bulbs/corms.
Overwintering note: In colder or winter-wet areas, gladioli/tigridia/sparaxis often do best lifted and stored dry & frost-free.
Good to Know
Tigridia: each flower may last a day, but plants produce multiple blooms over time.
Gladioli: excellent cut flowers; remove spent blooms to keep plants tidy (staking helps in wind).
Crocosmia: can bulk up over time in suitable conditions and makes a great “summer colour” clump.
Sparaxis: loves warmth and drainage; pots are often the easiest method in the UK.
