Anemone St. Brigid
Pack of 40 corms
A beautiful mixture of semi-double rainbow bright flowers including red, lilac, purple, red, royal blue and white.
Anemone St. Brigid is a herbaceous perennial with palmately lobed foliage and cheerful saucer-shaped flower heads.
Create a wave of confetti colour by planting en masse in full or half sun.
We recommend planting a few more than you require so that you have some Anemones left for bouquets – they are favoured by florists for their strong stems and ability to last a long time.
Anemones require very little maintenance too!

Instructions for planting
When to plant:
Anemones can be planted through the year
Autumn for flowering in April-June
Spring for flowering in July-August
Summer for flowers in autumn
It is important to soak corms in water prior to planting to awake them
Plant the bulbs 2″ (5cm) deep and 2-4″ (5-10cm) apart
When planting the corms, don’t worry about which end is up. They can be positioned in any direction and the sprouts will find their way to the sun
Plant in groups for a great show
Plant in a well drained, moist soil, will tolerate clay, sandy, loamy, chalk and peat type soils.
Best location: full sun or partial shade
Please note: Like many other flower bulbs anemones demand that the soil has adequate drainage. If water pools in the area where you are planting your corms, it will most likely lead to the corms rotting. Poorly drained soil is a common reason for them to failure so please make sure the entire flower bed is adequately drained. When planting in a heavy soil, you can place at least some sand, grit (or vermiculite, if available) into each hole under the bottom of the bulbs to help with drainage.
Height 10-30cm.
